Creamy Potato Soup Recipe
Garlic, Parmesan, Italian Seasoning





This Creamy Potato Soup is thickened with heavy cream and also has leeks, chicken stock, onion and celery to help add a great tasty addition to a days meal. This is the most popular creamy potato soup recipe on savory soup recipes. Enjoy it like the rest of us.

Ingredients

4 Large Potatoes
2 Celery Stalks, Chopped
1 Garlic Clove, Minced
1/3 C. Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
3 C. Chicken Stock
1 ½ C. Heavy Cream
1 Leek, (White Part Only)
½ Small Onion
1 tsp Salt
Pepper to Taste
¼ C. Butter


Prepare for Your
Thick and Creamy Soup.

1. Peel and cube four large potatoes for this creamy soup.

2. Mince one Garlic clove and a small onion and put them in a small container together, set it aside.

3. Chop two celery stalks and the white part of a leek and put them in the same container as the onion and garlic, set them off to the side.


Cooking this Creamy Soup.

1. Melt ¼ C. Butter in a large pot, wait till it gets hot then add the two chopped celery stalks, one minced garlic clove, one chopped leek and one copped onion to the skillet and saute for 4 minutes. Stir Frequently.

2. Now add the cubed potatoes and saute for an additional 4 minutes.

3. After sauteing for eight minutes add three cups chicken stock to the pot and turn on high heat.

4. When this simple potato soup starts to boil reduce the heat to a simmer and add the Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, salt and Mix Well. Simmer for about 25 minutes.

5. Now add the heavy cream and black pepper, mix well.
