Ham and Bean Delight

Heres some simple guidelines for a an easy recipe.
1 Package of your favorite kind of dried beans.
Rinse and sort them and soak them overnight by
Combining 7 or 8 cups of water and 1 lb (2/3 cup)Beans.Place beans on stove and bring to a boil simmer covered for about 45 minute.
Drain water from beans. Add fresh water,Onions carrots,celery,ham,ham hocks,cooked bacon or any other type of salted meat.Add salt and pepper. Cook for another 45-60 minutes until tender.
