Vegetarian Chili Recipe
In a Crockpot


A Crockpot Vegetarian Chili Recipe thats slowly cooked with fine ingredients and spicy herbs to bring out the best flavor for a delicious home cooked vegetarian chili.

This chili has fresh tomatoes, black beans, bell peppers, garlic, onions and just the right blend of herbs and spices.

Chili doesn't get much easier than this, the crockpot or slow cooker is always the way to go for chili.


Great on a cold winter day our easy vegetarian chili recipes will warm you up like the summer sun.

  INGREDIENTS                        COOKWARE

  • 2 Cans Black Beans
  • 1 Large Yellow Onion, Diced
  • 4 Fresh Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, Diced
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, Diced
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 TBSP Chili Powder
  • 1 C Vegetable Broth
  • 1/2 C. Water
  • 2 tsp. Cumin
  • 2 C. Fresh Corn Kernals (3 Ears)
  • 1/4 C. Fresh Cilantro, Finely Chopped
  • Food Processor or Anything            that will Mince
  • Ladle
  • Dry measuring cups & spoons
  • Liquid measuring cup
  • Crock Pot or Slow Cooker
  • Knife

    Preparing your Best
    Vegetarian Chili.

    1. Drain and Rinse 2 cans of black beans.

    2. Dice 1 yellow onion, 1 green bell pepper and one red bell pepper.

    3. Mince 2 garlic cloves

    4. Chop 4 fresh tomatoes.

    5. Remove the kernals from 3 ear of corn. You can do this by slicing them off with a knife.

    6. Finely chop about 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves.

    Vegetarian Chili

  • Sautee the onion, both bell peppers, and the garlic in a pan with about 1 TBSP. olive oil for 3 minutes. Stirring Occasionally.
  • Now add the cilantro, black pepper and cumin and sautee for 2 minutes. Stirring Occasionally.
  • Now add the contents in the pan into the crock pot/ slow cooker.
  • Now add all the ingridients and stir welll.
  • Put the lid on and cook on low for 10 hours.
  • If you think it needs more time, cook it for another hour.

  • Your Vegetarian Chili is now finished.
    Go Ahead! Test it out! Just don't burn yourself.
